Pup Adventure Weekend is a multi-day event in Oklahoma City that brings together human puppies, handlers, and the broader community for a weekend of connection, exploration, and play. We make sure we provide a full schedule of social gatherings, immersive experiences, and community-driven activities designed to create space for both fun and personal growth.

Attendees can expect opportunities to meet new people, build friendships, explore their puppy headspace in a supportive environment, and take part in unique experiences you won’t find anywhere else locally. Pup Adventure Weekend focuses on creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where people can be themselves while strengthening the visibility and positive presence of the pup community.

What Is PAW?

The producers of PAW are simply local community members who wanted to bring a puppy event to Oklahoma City. Our first and most important goal with PAW is to build a fun, welcoming space for both new and experienced puppies.

Outside of PAW, we run Pups United Project. This is a nonprofit run by puppies and handlers dedicated to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We volunteer and partner with local organizations to support their work and promote a positive image for the pet community.

We also run Red Dirt Dog Park. This is a separate social group for community events and outings. We host events every quarter to help puppies connect, get active, and make friends.

Who Are We?

When we were coming up with the concept for Pup Adventure Weekend, we wanted to create something unique. We focused on hands-on (or paws-on) activities that let people connect naturally. While classes and education will always have a place in our community, we wanted this event to be a chance to disconnect from the world and let puppies be puppies. We started with a two-day event in our first year in 2025, and in 2026, we expanded to three days to give everyone even more time to let go and enjoy themselves.
